Prof. Xu and her team were awarded the Science Breakthrough of the Year 2022 in Engineering and Technology by the Falling Walls Foundation for their work in enzyme-embedded plastic. She will give a talk on Nov. 9th in Germany, the day the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.
