Celebrating MSE Alumni Community 2025

On September 6, 2025, the MSE Department welcomed distinguished alumni back to the Hearst Memorial Mining Building for our second MSE Alumni Day! More than 70 alumni — from graduates of the 1970s to those who completed their degrees just last year — joined the celebration. The event featured reflections on student life, memories of time at Berkeley, and ideas for strengthening the MSE alumni network. Faculty members and student representatives also gave short talks highlighting current research and student experiences. We are excited to continue building connections within our community — stay tuned for upcoming MSE alumni activities!
