Electron Microscopy Reveals New Alloy Method

Published today in Nature, Prof. Zheng and team have discovered a new way to produce these materials, called high-entropy alloys (HEAs), at near-room temperatures. Their technique also gives users much more control of the alloy’s crystal structure and overall morphology compared with existing methods, opening the door for a new paradigm of custom-made HEAs.
