Profile


    Prof. Evans has taught metallurgy and conducted research on materials production at Berkeley since 1972, serving as department chairman from 1986-1990. He is also a Principal Investigator in the Environmental Energy Technologies Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Research Interests

    Production of materials, particularly fluid flow; reaction kinetics, mass transport, electrochemical and electromagnetic phenomena governing processes for producing materials, including metals, and for storing energy.
