Applicants must meet all Graduate Division requirements for the appointment including being a registered graduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and no more than two incompletes. Please review additional details for GSI appointments. If you are currently appointed a GSR, you must receive prior approval from your Faculty Research Advisor to apply for a GSI position.

All students who are not native speakers of English must pass a test of their proficiency in spoken English before they can hold GSI positions. This policy applies to all prospective GSIs, whatever their citizenship and residency status, and whatever subject they will be teaching.
