MSE Alumna Nicole Michenfelder-Schauser Wins Hertz Fellowship

MSE Alumna and 2015 recipient of the MSE Department Citation has been named a winner of the prestigious Hertz Foundation Fellowship. A link to the award announcement can be found here.  The Hertz Foundation Fellowship is known as the most competitive PhD fellowship program in science and engineering in the United States. Nicole is one of twelve recipients nationally, from over 800 applicants across science, engineering and mathematics fields. Nicole will begin her PhD studies in MSE next Fall at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
