The designation “MSA Fellow” is intended to recognize senior distinguished members of the Society who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the field of microscopy and microanalysis through a combination of scientific achievement and service to the scientific community and the Society itself. Election to MSA Fellow is limited to a small fraction of the Society membership in any given year and represents a major recognition by her peers of her contributions to the field.

For the development and application of quantitative, high-resolution, liquid cell and closed cell microscopy methods and their applications in understanding nanomaterial nucleation and growth, energy materials and liquid-solid interfaces.

This citation will appear in the press release that the Microscopy of Society will issue to announce its Class of 2023 Fellows, on her plaque of recognition, and on her listing on the Society Fellows web page.

The recognition as MSA Fellow will take place during the upcoming Microscopy & Microanalysis Conference (M&M 2023) which takes place from July 23 – 27, 2023 in Minneapolis, Minnesota in  the Society Awards Ceremony on the morning of Monday, July 24, as part of the plenary session marking the opening of the meeting.
