Professor Birgeneau Receives the Darius and Sarah Anderson Distinguished Service Award

Robert Birgeneau, the Arnold and Barbara Silverman Distinguished Professor of Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, and Public Policy, and Chancellor Emeritus, was awarded the 2015 Darius and Sarah Anderson Distinguished Service Award from Berkeley's Institute for Governmental Studies. The award recognizes "a distinguished person who has contributed to advancing the spirit of good government and improving the quality of public affairs for our state and nation."
