Research
Andrew Minor’s research interests lie at the intersection of advanced electron microscopy and materials science. His group focuses on the development and application of new and often in situ electron microscopy techniques to image and quantify nanoscale phenomena critical for our understanding of structure-property relationships in materials. These new techniques have impacted our understanding of nanomechanical testing, deformation in metals, polymer structure, laser-materials interactions and phase transformations.
